The Eureka 313A is an awesome steamer for cleaning hard surfaces. It works well on just about all hard floor surfaces including granite, linoleum, tile and wood. The most significant specialty of the steamer is its capability to clean through tough grime and dirt. However, it is also extremely effective in killing bacteria and germs. This is wonderful for those having small children playing on the floors. In fact, I feel a lot better about my 7-month-old daughter crawling on floors after I have cleaned them using the Eureka 313A steamer. The best part is that the time required for cleaning my floors has been cut to almost half thereby allowing her more time for play.
The Eureka 313A steamer uses steam technology that eliminates the use of costly and harmful chemicals that many times leave residue on your floors. Another important thing to keep in mind is that, most of these cleaning chemicals cost between $6 to $8 and quite often need multiple applications. If you consider the money saved by eliminating this expensive and harmful method, you will find the small price required to buy the steamer to be unreal. In case your house has hardwood stairs, Eureka 313A steamer is your best friend for sure. Just ask yourself when was the last time you tried to clean the staircase. Your answer probably will be never and it is quite natural as it can turn out to be an un-pleasant experience especially while considering the difficulties involved in cleaning the several corners of your staircase. Similar to all products, the Eureka 313A steamer also has some negatives. The one I found was that the magic pads included with the cleaner left a lot to be desired. They appeared to be extremely thin, thereby causing the pads to skim over the surface instead of penetrating through to the awkward and tough to reach places such as grout lines and crevices. Of course, these problems are unrelated to my requirements because we only have tiles in a small bathroom. However, the advantage with the magic pads is that they are machine washable. Therefore, it is great to not have to keep on replenishing cleaning pads with expensive replacements. You can just drop it in your washing machine and it is good for another use.
The steamer is an excellent and a well thought-out product. It provides good results. Most people have had positive experience with using it.
